Covergirl Lip Perfection Lipstick Swatches & Review

Covergirl Lip Perfection Lipstick

This line has a huge range of colors! 44 to be exact.

I have only found the full range at Walmart. I noticed that CVS only had a limited range of colors. I LOVE the packaging!
The packaging can get fingerprints on it but it looks worse in this picture than in real life
^This picture is not true to color due to the flash
You can tell from the picture below how creamy these lipsticks are!
This picture is very true to color!

From top to bottom:

200 Sultry

395 Darling

260 Heavenly

400 Temptress

395 Enchantress

These come in shimmer and cream formulas.

*Enchantress is the only one that I have that has a tiny bit of shimmer in it

Have you tried these lipsticks?

I want more!!

I think I'll try the color Fairytale next.

Drugstore Haul and first impressions

I just wanted to share some of the things I have gotten from the drugstore recently in case anyone wants a full review on any of the products! Sorry I didn't have time to take pictures of all the products so I just got photos from online.Clean and Clear Finishes Mattifyng Moisturizer
First Impression: This stuff is pretty awesome! It's like a mattifying primer and moisturizer all in one! I can see my skin mattifying as soon as I put this on!

Clean and Clear Finishes Pore Perfecting Moisturizer

First Impression: This has the same concept as the mattifying moisturizer; a primer and moisturizer all in one. Because I don't have very oily skin I used the mattifying moisturizer on my t zone and the pore perfecting moisturizer on the rest of my face and I'm really liking these so far.

Loreal Go 360 Clean Deep Cream Cleanser

This is a re-purchase. I love this cleanser because of the minty fresh feeling it gives your face.

Pantene Restore Beautiful Lengths Breakage Defense Shampoo & Conditioner
These are also a re-purchase. Love them.
This is the old packaging that you might recognize.

Aquaphor Healing Ointment
First Impression: I have been using this on my super dry lips and it's like heaven!

Loreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Gelee
First Impression: This isn't really a first impression because I have been using this for quite while now and I LOVE THIS! Would you girls like to see a full review?

Pssst Dry Shampoo
(this is the old packaging but the new is very similar)
First Impression: Good smell. Works good. I guess I should add this to my last post about dry shampoos?

Suave Heat Protection
First Impression: I don't really know why I got this because I have gone through over five of the Tresemme heat protectant and I love it. I have just been using this along with my Tresemme. Nice smell.
Let me know which products you would like to see a full review on please!

Dry Shampoo Comparison (Suave, Tresemme, John Frieda)

I'm just going to share with you my opinions are my experiences with these three dry shampoos!

I'll share with you the pros and cons (my personal opinion) of these dry shampoos!

Tresemme dry shampoo

Retails around $5

5.7 oz

This has become a pretty popular drugstore dry shampoo and I can see why.

This is the first dry shampoo I ever tried, so I have owned this one the longest.

PROS:

  • Good smelling, like all tresemme products

  • Feels refreshing and clean when sprayed in hair

  • Volumizes hair while extracting oils

CONS:

  • If you have dark hair (like me) you have to be careful about having a white cast in your hair

Suave dry shampoo

Retails around $3

5 oz

This product came out very recently and probably still hasn't hit the shelves of a few drugstores.

PROS:

  • The smell is very fruity, like mangoes!

  • I didn't have any trouble with white cast even though I have black hair

CONS:

  • The bottle is deceiving because it is larger than the tresemme bottle, but somehow holds less product

  • I only used this product TWICE before it ran out! I know it wasn't expensive, but come on!

  • This didn't feel like it was refreshing my hair like the other dry shampoos did

John Frieda Volume Refresher Dry Shampoo

Retails around $6 (Most come with a $1 off coupon attached to the bottle)

3.5 oz

This product is also new to the shelves and is marketing more as a Volume Refresher. Honestly, all it is is a dry shampoo with a fancier sounding name ; )

PROS:

  • Good smelling (like a professional styling product would smell like..that's all I could come up with! haha)

  • Feels very refreshing

  • Volumizes hair while extracting oils

CONS:

  • This can leave a white cast if you are not careful, especially with dark hair!

  • The product comes out very fast and more forceful than the other two..which isn't necessarily a bad thing, you just have to be careful

I love the Tresemme dry shampoo and the John Frieda dry shampoo about the same, but will probably just get another Tresemme dry shampoo the next time I need some just because of the price factor!

Have you tried any of these dry shampoos?

Any other dry shampoos I need to try?

Drugstore Foundation Haul & First Impression

I went by CVS today mainly to get a new powder because I think my MAC MSF natural might be breaking me out. I've been wearing it for almost a year and haven't noticed anything until now though. It could be another product I'm using but I can't figure out what it is! Does anyone else have a problem with MAC's mineralized skin finish natural breaking them out?
Maybelline FIT me foundation in 120
I picked up this foundation to try even though I don't have high expectations for it because I have heard that it even makes people with dry skin oily. ew. I wanted to try it out for myself though.

Revlon colorstay foundation
combination/oily
200 nude
I picked up this foundation because this seems to be everyones all time favorite drugstore foundation.

Revlon PhotoReady Powder
Light/Medium
This is what I got to try instead of my mineralized skin finish natural. I hope this works!
Let me know if you would like to see a review on these!

*After I got home from CVS I tried on Revlon colorstay on one half of my face and Maybelline fit me on the other half and Revlon colorstay is definitely winning!
Contemplating exchanging the Maybelline fit me foundation..what are your thoughts?*

*PLEASE let me know if you have tried any of these products because I would LOVE to hear your experience with them!
